Group - C [8× 3 = 24]
20. (a) Use the row-equivalent matrices to solve the system:
         x=2y + 3z = 9, 2x - y + 2z = - 8, 3x - y - 4z= 3.
     (b) Solve the following system by using inverse matrix method: 2x - 3y - z=4,
         x-2y -z= 1, x- y - 2z=9
21. (a) Find the direction cosines 1, m, n of two lines which satisfy the equations:
         41+3m- 2n = 0 and /m - mn + n/ = 0.
22.A college hostel accommodation 1000 students, one of them came abroad with infection of corona virus, then the hostel was isolated. If the rate at which the virus spreads is assumed to be proportional to the product of the number N of infected students and number of non-infected students and the number of infected students if 50 after 4 days.
- Express the above information in the form of differential equation.
- Solve the differential equation.
- Show that more than 95% students will be infected after 10 days.
