(These questions can appears in SEE Examination in Q.no 9 b by saying to convert the given interrogative sentence to statement)
NOTE: The difference between assertive and affirmative sentence is that assertive sentences declare, state, or assert a fact of opinion and the affirmative sentences indicate a positive sense or meaning.

RULES:
If you are struggling in these question types. Here are some rules that you should know while converting interrogative sentences to a statement or assertive sentences.
1) If a sentence is negative interrogative, it is changed into affirmative. If it is bare interrogative then it has to be changed into negative (assertive).
2) If there is no auxiliary very in the sentence, change it by using do/does/did or don't/ doesn't/did't.
3) Ever in interrogative sentence is replaced by never in assertive sentences.
4) Who + don't/ doesn't/ didn't in interrogative sentences is replaced by someone/somebody/everybody/everyone/no one/ nobody/ anybody/ anyone in assertive sentence
5) though/does it matter is replaced by It doesn't matter
6) Anything in interrogative sentences is replaced by nothing in assertive sentences.
