Eligibility:
Students who took the SEE exam in Chaitra 2080.
Applying for a scholarship for the 2081/082 academic year.
Application Process:
Submit your application online at entrance.kathmandu.gov.np.
Application period: Until 11:59 PM on Ashadh 29, 2081.
Application fee: Free.
Exam Details:
Subjects: Science, Management, Humanities, Education, Law.
Exam date: Shravan 4, 2081 (Friday) from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Each subject(Science, management, Humanities, Education, Law) exam is 100 marks, lasting 2 hours.
You can only apply for one stream (either science or management or humanities or education of law).
Exam Syllabus and Marks:
Multiple-choice questions.
Based on Class 10 syllabus: 30 questions each from Mathematics, Science, English, and 10 from General Knowledge.
Minimum passing marks: 40%.
No negative marking.
Required Documents:
SEE Admit Card.
Passport size photograph.
Citizenship or birth certificate.
SEE character certificate or transfer certificate.
Recommendation letter if applicable (from public schools or scholarship-based institutional schools).
Other specific certificates for reserved groups.
Submission Instructions:
Fill out the form online at kathmandu.gov.np or entrance.kathmandu.gov.np.
Upload necessary documents by taking photos with your phone.
Preview and edit your form before final submission.
After submitting, changes can only be made by emailing examdoe@kathmandu.gov.np.
Selection Criteria:
Scholarships will be distributed based on the following:
40% to public school students.
5% to institutional school students on scholarships.
14% to residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
1% to students from landfill-affected areas.
Additional reservations for various categories (e.g., Dalit, Muslim, backward areas, etc.).
Admit Card:
Print the admit card yourself two days before the exam.
Exam Guidelines:
Bring the admit card and a black gel pen.
Arrive one hour before the exam.
No electronic devices allowed.
Latecomers (after 15 minutes) will not be admitted.
Results and Admission:
Results will be published based on merit.
Enroll within 3 days if selected.
Second list for vacant seats if necessary.
Re-evaluation requests can be made if dissatisfied with the results.
